The Institute of Wedding & Event Design was established in 2009 with the goal of educating independent event designers the physical techniques to executing beautifully designed events. The skills learned through IWED’s Accredited Event Designer program have allowed small & medium-sized businesses to be more efficient during execution, expand on the services offered and increase their overall bottom line.
IWED has traveled across the United States, Canada & Australia teaching individuals from all walks of life and of all age ranges, with countless student success stories, many of which are featured in our monthly “Student Spotlight” – IWED continues to develop new methods and content of delivering our critically acclaimed course.
In 2014 the Institute of Wedding & Event Design launched IWED Online, a home-based education platform utilizing the incredibly powerful Canvas Infrastructure, used by universities and fortune 500 companies alike. The video-rich curriculum allows students to learn at their own pace in the comfort of their home, and then submit their designs for grading and critique by our AED certified instructors.
